CONTACT US TODAY!
We focus a lot of attention on prevention and wellness care for our patients. This involves the regular physical exam, screening for internal and external parasites, and vaccination based on the risk profile of the pet. Puppies and kittens require frequent visits to monitor growth and development and to receive a series of vaccines to boost their immunity. This is generally done every 3-4 weeks until they reach 4 months, when they will also begin a parasite prevention program. We recommend to spay/neuter at 6 months of age, this is also a good time to get a microchip for permanent identification. The young adult dog should then be seen on a yearly basis. For the senior pet, 7 years and older, we recommend twice yearly visits for physical exam and regular organ screening.
